About the game Classic Backgammon

If the name backgammon doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry. This game in Poland has long been known as backgammon. Do you now know what we're talking about? If not, it still doesn't matter. In a few sentences, let's introduce you to the rules of backgammon, and then we hope that you will try to play it yourself!

Backgammon is a board game for two players. Each of them has fifteen pawns (one red and the other black), which they move on a characteristic board consisting of 24 triangle-shaped fields. These squares are called lines, and the goal of the players is to remove all their pawns from the board. Whoever does it first wins.

The rules of moving pawns may seem quite complicated at first, but they are much easier to understand during the actual game. Within a few tries, you should master the basics of moving around the board. One of the main assumptions is that the player with black pawns moves from field 1 to 24, and the one with red - vice versa, and our chances of winning are largely determined by dice rolls. They determine how fast we can move our pawns and how quickly we can get rid of them from the board.

Backgammon isn't very popular nowadays, so it's hard to find a partner to play with. Fortunately, Backgammon allows you to fight duels with artificial intelligence. All you have to do is sit down in front of the computer, turn on the game and ... give yourself to fun. And if you do find someone who wants to try their hand (or rather their luck) against you, Backgammon also includes a player versus player option.
