The rules of playing Timber Guy are as simple as... pine. Well, we take control of the title lumberjack, stand in front of the tree and start hitting it from the left, then from the right. We have to watch out for overhanging branches. As soon as we see one on one side of the tree, we must quickly move to the other. If we don't, we will lose - our brave woodcutter will be crushed and we will have to start over.

Control in Timber Guy is done with just two buttons - the left arrow and the right arrow. They are used to go to the selected page of the tree (it happens instantly after pressing one of the keys). We don't need anything else here. It seems simple, but it is not, because time is constantly chasing us. At the top of the screen there is a red, constantly shortening bar. When it reaches zero, we fail. Fortunately, we can replenish it - the faster we cut down the tree, the faster the bar lengthens.

The game can be said to go on endlessly. We lose only when we touch one of the branches or when all the time has elapsed. The fun is therefore to cut down the tree as quickly as possible and get the best results. Beating each record is accompanied by a considerable injection of satisfaction. Finally, let's add that Timber Guy has eye-catching, cartoonish graphics, and we can cut down trees not only with the titular lumberjack, but also with additional heroes: Michael, Agent K and Beatrix. Each of them resembles a famous character from the world of pop culture. Guess which one!
