You can choose to play with one, two, or four different colors. Depending on whether you want to solve a simple puzzle or a longer challenge, you can choose the appropriate number of shapes.  

The game begins with 10 columns of cards – some face up, some face down. Suits don't matter, but the order of the cards does! In Spider Solitaire Original, depending on the mode you choose, you can pick up one card or many at a time.  

You start each stack with a king and finish with an ace. You have a limited number of moves to arrange your cards. At the top of the screen, you can see how many clicks you have left until the end of the game. In Spider Solitaire Original, moving entire sequences is only possible if all the cards in it are of the same suit. You can move individual cards regardless of suit, as long as they match the sequence in the target column. If you run out of options, you can use an extra deal, which places one card in each column.
