Due to the name, many people identify sudoku with Japan, but it turns out that the game has a slightly different origin - it is based on the Latin Euler squares, which were invented in the 18th century! The board we know today first appeared in the 70s of the last century in an American magazine called "Place of numbers", which is a very pictorial title of the game.

The rules of the game in sudoku are not overly complicated - you have a square board divided into 9 identical fields, each of which contains 9 squares containing one number. It may happen that one or two numbers are missing in one of the layouts, and then you can easily put the correct one there - it should not cause any particular difficulties. The almost empty layouts are a bit more challenging, because then you have to really focus on each number.
