Bingo rules
If you like party games that evoke an unforgettable thrill, you will love bingo. You can take part in the game in a group of at least two players. Both younger and older players quickly remember the rules of this game of chance, which is why it is perfect both at social meetings and during a family evening of fun.
During the game you will not create a complicated strategy, but you have to be very observant. Good reflexes are also required of you. Bingo is sure to develop these useful skills in you and other players and bring you a lot of fun.
The rules of bingo are so easy that even the youngest players will have no problem with learning them, so after introducing them quickly, you can immediately start a fascinating game together. To carry out the game you will need special paper charts with numbers written on it. In the classic version of the game, they have dimensions of 5 × 5 - which gives a total of 25 fields with random numbers.
At the very top of the card, letters are printed, which together form the word BINGO. Each of the individual initials has a series of numbers. For popular Canadian and American board varieties, numbers from 1 to 75 are used. Each column under a specific letter contains the appropriate numbers. In the first column B you will find values from 1 to 15, in I - from 16 to 30, in N - from 31 to 45, in G - from 46 to 60, and in O - from 61 to 75. game types is sometimes empty - it is assumed in advance that it is selected. Thanks to this layout, it will be easier for you to navigate the board and find a specific number.
Before starting the game, take a pen in your hand - it will be useful for marking specific numbers on the card. You can also use a marker specially adapted for bingo, i.e. a dabber - it has a wide tip, which makes it much easier to mark fields. Sometimes there are also caps that are placed on individual numbers.
In a standard game, the so-called caller plays the game. This is a specially designated person who is responsible for reading the numbers. He uses balls that are marked with specific numbers to draw. The facilitator takes them out of the container or uses a drawing machine. He then announces to the players what number has been drawn. In the case of an online game, the software chooses it.
The task of the players is to check whether the number announced by the caller appears on their boards. If a player sees a specific number on their card, they must mark it. The process is the same for each subsequent turn.
The game of bingo continues in this way until one of the players fills in a certain pattern on the card. Usually one horizontal line should be marked at the beginning. If the quarterback manages to do this, he should shout "Bingo!" To signal his win to the host and other players. Then the correctness of filling in the board is checked.
It doesn't have to be game over, though. Very often, after this stage, the fight continues, but with the difference that this time the winner is the first one to mark all numbers in any two horizontal lines. Then the players try to get the so-called full house, which is the last possible pattern. This happens when a player has ticked all the spaces on his card. Each win should be announced with a shout of "Bingo!".
Classic bingo with 75 numbers is not the only type of game. There is also BINGO 90 - in this case the board has 3 rows of 9 fields, and the numbers drawn have a range from 1 to 90. You only have 5 slots for each horizontal line.
Playing bingo with many boards is a great variety and challenge. It often happens that players fill in several or even a dozen cards at once during one tournament. This increases the chance of winning, but also creates a challenge - you have to be extremely perceptive and react quickly.
